What are we trying to do here?

We are a community of people who build book scanners. Building book scanners has always been a major undertaking. However, wood-routing CNC machines are everywhere, and are a favorite project of hackerspaces. By making a design available which can be cut on these machines, we hope to put a DIY Book Scanner within driving distance of every person on earth, and in the homes of everyone who wants one. In short, we want to salt the hackerspaces, community workshops, and libraries of the world with these useful, inexpensive machines.

I have more questions, can I contact you?
